A contractor spilled an adhesive in one of the air handler rooms. Funes spread and controllers became sick. My buddy had just left before this happened.
My wife is from Michigan and we now live in West Virginia. She grew up an hour north west of Detroit and were already talking about moving to Michigan in the next few years. I had a negative perception of the state but I've grown to love it. Especially spending time up north.
Anyone have any recommendations of a CPA that specializes in pilots?
The CPA I used last year had never done an airline pilot before and there was a ton of confusion. I'd love to find someone that knows exactly what can and cannot be done.
I did a quick google search but I'm kinda leary on...
The plan is to retire all the 100s over time and keep the 300s. Our instructor told us they plan on keeping the 300 around until 2020. Sounds like ROA will be the Dash base and PHL the jet base.
Hey guys
Just made the jump to Piedmont and I'm in the market for a good headset for the Dash 8. The company requires TSO. I plan on transitioning to the 145 later next year. Any suggestions? I currently have the Bose QC15 setup. Anyone know the TSO process and cost to have them converted?
Started at PDT today. Hearing Nov and Dec will only have 1 class each but 24 are confirmed for both. A friend and I interviewed a week apart and I started today while the next available for him was December and other guys in his group was Jan.

One manager told a buddy of mine to expect an additional flying announcement soon.
I put my harness on after the before takeoff checklist and take it off once around 5000 or so. It then comes back on during vectors and off as I'm making contact with ground.
For ever leg I write down the out and in time, log ten pro automatically puts in the amount of night based off of the times. For imc I normally just estimate it.
Example: I block 1 hour. About half of the flight is imc, I log .5 actual.
I try to update my logbook after every trip. If its...
If i have to wait for than 15 minutes, no tip. If I have to load/unload my bags, no tip. Id bet some van drivers in bigger cities make more than a first year FO or FA.
Here's a scenario I had not long ago
Short final into DCA and aircraft is fully configured. FA calls up and says someone just went into the lav.
What do you do? We did a go around but I'm not so sure it was safer than just landing.
