SWA window open 1/20

ZapBrannigan

If it ain’t a Boeing, I’m not going. No choice.
Haven't seen this posted here, so apologies if it already was.

Window open 1/20 for 7 days. Rumor is they will open it on the 20th of every month and you need to reapply during each window until invited to interview.

Good luck to anyone who is interested.

I've heard this a couple of times. When do these windows open. Still not seeing anything.

Only took me a minute to find it.

Found it now. I was doing a search for the category "flight ops/pilots." Nothing turned up. Just clicked on a link at the top of the page for "job family." Finally showed up.

(Crickets) its sad when you work your whole life to get someplace and then you find out it's everybody else's plan B "safety school".

If it's any consolation, I would never go there. I spent 7.5 years as a FO (yeah I know, boo me), and I couldn't fathom being a FO in the same plane for 15-20 years. I know things can change with the economy, but at other carriers, at least I'd be afforded the opportunity to swap planes, routes, schedules, base, etc. I hope it works out for everyone that goes there, but the CA group seems to be younger than the other carriers.

if it it makes you feel any better I'm glad you posted because I was just not seeing the job posting and the window was just a rumor.

Speaking of rumors I was wondering about the tpic being reduced. It's not. So I guess I just need to work harder.
