Official PUBNAT2 "Initail Contact Email"

I'm not a common blogger, but I have been reading all of the posts for a while. I applied back in Feb and didn't get it the first time around. I just got my email today and was selected for Charlotte, my first choice. I am so grateful and look forward to seeing some of you in OK. For those of you who didn't get the email, keep your heads up and don't give up, you'll get something. I didn't get it last time and was crushed. THe FAA like persistence.

4/30 ATSAT Well Qualified
Geo Pref: NC and KY
Selected: Charlotte Tower
PEPC: KC on week of 11/17
 
I just can't believe that there's already 13 pages on this post that started yesterday. You PUBNA2'ers must have a lot to talk about.
 
I posted this morning that i got terminal, and now this afternoon i got another email from my HR Rep, and im headed to FT. Wayne----I'm a bit bummed out it wasn't Indy, but, a job is a job! Oh and by the way i have the actual dates for PEPC. Here's the dates they sent me:

If you would like to attend the Kansas City PEPC, please let us know your date preference: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday - November 17, 18 or 19.

If you would like to attend the Los Angeles PEPC, please let us know your date preference: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday – January 26, 27 or 28.

I have to answer by Oct 20, on whether i want the job or not. Good luck to the rest!
 
i really hope they are not done with emails yet. i got my offer for ZNY, but i have 3 friends and 1 little brother trying as well. my brother and one friend both got 84's on their at-sat's and i know someone on here said that not Qualified people got selected, but my other two friends should get picked up. one got a 98.9 and the other got a 95, and they put down the exact same geo prefs as me, and they didnt get anything yet. so i really do hope that the emails arent completed yet. i know when i got passed up for pubnat1 the emails only went out on the Thursday and Friday and then they were done. so im really hopin you all get emails still.

so if we haven't heard anything by now are we basically assuming that we weren't picked up this time? just wondering if thats basically what we're thinking..
 
Hey Boomer weren't there a few late arriving emails in Pubnat1? Obviously there isn't a specific things are done since the terminal names were included this time and the HR emails came beforehand, but didn't a few people get their emails later than the majority?
 
I got offered a spot at ZKC in Olathe, KS. Wanted KCI but I'll take it. Of course I asked for Thursday in KC :). :nana2:

Must say it was a nice surprise to see this little message pop up in my email after working a double at my crappy job!:banghead:

Going off memory, but I remember enroute getting emails Thurs/Fri then Terminal getting theirs the following week. Our first emails though came from PEPC coordinators only.

Well dont get people's hopes up man. For the record my HR contact said if they didnt finish this week they would continue into tuesday. On a side note since im bitter....

I dont get it really. Me being a commercial pilot who knows all the phraselogy and would have no issues with comprehending the material gets denied, but a guy with 5% more on his ATSAT with NO aviation exsperience gets his first choice. Whatever. Just me ranting.:banghead::banghead:

I'm just curious if it has been confirmed that no one from the "qualified" group was selected this time around?
I wanted ZOB and I have only seen one person get an offer for it.

Bummer man... I don't know how much things are weighted...but Keep your head up. You never know why someone else was selected. Could be a combo of things...:panic::panic::panic:
