Thanks for calling them...I tried this afternoon at about 3 to call and got no answer. I hate being the person that's 'on edge' like this but I am afraid that my invite will get tossed into spam for some reason!

I have gmail, but still, you never know!

They told you October 14-16? Everyone else has dates in September.
Did they say why you where testing so late?
You are for PUBNAT 4, right?

Received the scheduling letter from Robinson Aviation this morning. I'm scheduled for the ATSAT Oct. 6th! :) The available dates are Oct. 6-17, minus the weekends and holiday.

Hey all...regarding testing in ATL:

Like Talon, I too finally received the email from Robinson this morning.

Scheduled for Oct 9th in PTC!

Good luck to all!

I took the ATT-SAT test this previous friday 9/12/08 in Holtsville, NY scored 88.3 any idea on if that is well qualified or qualified? And how long will it take for a referrale list come out?

Your score is considered well qualified, and just a guess but i would say refferal list for this announcement will probably come out about December, but that is just a guess.

thanks..for the educated guess...I didn't see any info on this but I applied for the NYC area folllowed by "throught the nation" any idea if the northeast is short-staffed or is that a pipe-dream?

oohhh another person from NJ

NY TRACON is apparently very understaffed... I haven't heard much else about anything in this area...

:hiya: I'm from Jersey too!

It sounds like the northeast must be understaffed from the bonuses you hear about that are going to veteran controllers to transfer or stay in the area longer.

Then again, by the time you, me, ChiChi, Ammolite, Hudson, etc get done with it we'll run the airspace.

It has it's ups and downs. Short periods of totally exciting developments that intersperse waiting that just gets more mind numbingly bleak as you go. :cwm27:

Heh. Soon you'll feel like a kid at Christmas that was told he had to go back to his room, get dressed for church, sit through a two hour long service, then go to see some distant relative at a rest home who can't remember his name but insists on telling some inane story about his antique civil war musket that just keeps going on and on...

...uh, anyway, the point was that the kid had to wait until like ten at night to open his presents.

Wait, what were we talking about again?

very long....

PUBNAT1...Tested April, Geo Prefs in May, Referral list and Selection in June, PEPC in July, and now still waiting....

PUBNAT2...Tested in July, Geo Prefs in Aug., Refferal List in Sept, and now still waiting...

PUBNAT3...Tested i believe at the end of Aug or beginning of Sept, and they are still waiting on Geo Prefs...

Soooo....Pubnat4 is gonna be a pretty decent wait most likely. hopefully the process speeds up for everyone, but expect to sit around for a long time...
