Hello there, I'm brand new to the scene, currently in Oklahoma City training.

I'll be heading down to Ft. Myers, Florida in July to start my OJT for tower. I'm excited about this opportunity!!

Everytime I come back from KPFN (panama city beach) they take me over ATL, thats the best experience ever, going over the airport and then the city. Of course this is at night when its not as busy. Any reason for this?
LZU is about 30 miles north east of ATL

Former Contract/Training Tower - Beaver County Airport
Current: Very busy Tower in texas.

PPL, ASEL/ASES working on IFR and aircraft ownership atm.

Let me ask you career guys a question.

I only have a fuzzy idea about what factors go into someone working a smaller Level 4 tower as opposed to a Level 10 tower. There's a bunch of controllers working smaller facilities. Are most of them there by choice? Or were they sent there by the FAA?

I just picked my locations today! WOO HOO!

I am hoping for LAS, as I can't move with my family being here. My second choice is in Arizona...IFP or something within a couple hours drive from Vegas.

How long does it take from selection to PEPC, on average? Is there an "average time?":D
