Before you came to colgan, they had this "CALL IT" exactly as it is incenetive, aka, if you lie about times you will be termintated with extreem prejudice. Everybody called honest times. The next day it was back to "call it as you see fit"
The next time you loose pay credit, you need to make 2 phone calls. The first to Our POI, the next to your local FSDO. Explaining that you have a broken airplane, but feel the company is threatening to withhold pay if you write it up, nowing that the flight will cancel. In light of the SWA, AMR DAL etc. MX issues, they will start hanging aournd more... which is what colgan doesn't want.
People who know me, know that i won't fly broken crap. Period. I've got a reputation for MXing planes. MX control has added a 4 letter word to my name (right in the middle), and they are convinced that i have a Woman in ALB. This isn't going to change that 1 bit. I'll just have to look harder at outstations so we get ferry pay rather than revenue pay. One way or another, flight time is flight time.
