CFIs Needed

Sierra is still running and, while disorganized, everything is going fairly well. Management has made some changes and they've brought in some new management types to try and organize the place a bit better, so I'm sure more changes are to come.

It's possible to make way more than $3500 if you want to work your ass off. I made $6k in one month here... and I'm averaging over 5k, but I work 7 days a week (all day, every day). You can make as much or as little as you want here, you're generally left alone by management as long as you're getting *something* done.

AWESOME! I so wanna do it...well, when the time is right :D

still trying to figure out if there is a 10 month commitment or not, and what the terms are if you don't finish the 10 months...i.e. what if someone went there and instructed 4-7 months?

Don't worry about any commitment. Just stay as long as you need to. Don't listen to George either. He told a bunch of instructor candidates that we only fly twins just so they would come out and interview. He tells you only what he thinks you need to know.

i was hired 10/06 and left mid march, 07 for a regional... you do the math. so far the koreans haven't try to hunt me down and burn me alive yet. as long as you don't sign anything with them, you should be ok.

Until one day in the near future you wake up and see a black BMW parked in the street.

We've had many instructors not stay 10 months and nothing happens. George isn't here most of the time, and when he is, he's showing new guys around and interviewing or hanging out.
I average 4500-5k a month, but I do work almost everyday.

The dogs are gone, I think someone from the city got rid of them after one of the dogs bit a student

Yeah, but aren't you an asst. chief? I'm guessing you make more than the average instructor.

no, I'm not an asst. chief or team leader, I just keep a full student load and work constantly. I don't know what the "average" instructor makes here, a lot of guy seem to do more hanging out than working, which is cool, but you can make as much or as little as you want here.

Im' so glad I left left for greener pastures, that place is awful...

how's your training? i guess they're running a pretty easy show over there if you have time to check on the crackpipe.

the other guy you applied with got pick up by xjet.

todd, when are you gonna leave that place? now that the girls are leaving, there's no reason for you to stick around anymore

I was thinking you were someone else. Can't keep you guys straight anymore.

They left today, im sad!

I'm going to finish my students and see whats next when it happens. They should be done by late November. I want to put away some more money too.

Regionals don't appeal a lot to me so I'll be looking for corporateish jobs. Mostly anything that pays OK. Or I might just stay at Sierra FOREVER!:sarcasm: Dan did just say he's expecting to get 4 or 5 full motion sims for boeing and airbus airplanes. Cool but not cool enough to stay here long enough to see it.

Sierra will be looking for probably 30 (give or take) instructors over the next few months for the new Air China, Shanghai, Wuhan, and Mongolian students coming in December and January. Good place to make some money if you don't mind smelling cow poop from the nearby farms on a daily basis, or if the wind is blowing just right and your luck strikes, chicken poop.
