ahahahahahha. Your funeral. 19 year old kids saying "I hear Mesa sux, wtf over?" then taking a job there anyway has to be as much a Mesa tradition as windbreakers and sleep-boards. Pray tell, what would it have taken for you to be convinced NOT to work for JO?
 
I am still a low timer...420TT and 105 multi. I am getting my CFI checkride next Monday..We'll see how things go.

I do have to do a lot of thinking regardless of what regional airline offers me a job. I will be facing a huge paycut and the prospect of enduring that for 3 or more years does not confort me. I know that I have to pay my dues and that nothing in life is free. Sometimes I think that I'll be better of just CFI'ing part time and build some more time like that before I venture any where else.
 
TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE: JUST GO TO A RESPECTABLE COMPANY. DON'T SELL OUT TO MESA, COLGAN OR GO JETS.


Skywest, Air Wisconsin, ExpressJet are your best bets. Good luck.
 
How'd you type that in all caps?

I tried to type a sentence in caps a week ago and it turned each word into an uppercase first letter with the rest in lowercase.

I was hired at 22 over the phone to be a dash 8 captain. theres alot more involved, but just the fact they would do this, should keep you away.

i now work at a real airline, xjet. its worth the wait to get on with a good airline, even if means freight doggin it for a year or so

I'll call out 2 years when you decide to leave for greener grass and how you didn't know or remember that your training would be prorated every time you upgrade and/or switch seats/planes...and now, you have to pay it all back after upgrading to captain 6 months ago. that's $8-10K i think that would have to be paid back to them once you sign the dotted line.

unless someone's been able to turn the tables lately??
 
THANKS, I HAD NO IDEA! ALSO I WILL MENTION THAT A TONYC STYLE POST WITH A LONE PERIOD BELOW THE SENTENCE DOES NOT DO THE TRICK. YOU MUST HAVE LETTERS, LIKE YOU SAID.
