The "ER FO"

I'm sure you've been to ATH...that was my first time. The other F/O took me on a great tour. He could've been a hired guide. It was fabulous.

I love Athens, it's probably my favorite layover due to combination of high-time and I love Greek food!

Having a second FO rocks. The guy we have on the six-day CDG trip brings lots of tasty snacks, we've got five different varieties of gums, several types of lozenges, and does killer PA's. The man's a godsend.

Ah, yes, Grasshopper!

It is always wise to learn from the masters...

Heat sucks. I don't care if it's "dry" or not, I hate the heat.

It's been upper 80's/lower 90's for a couple weeks here, and I'm going NUTS. I can't stand it.

Yeah, sounds like I'm gonna DIE on my two 20 hours IND overnights next month. :)

Staplegun, when are you going to Nice? I'm having one or two overnights there almost every month. Send me a PM if you'd like.

I'll be in Nice June 28th, July 3rd and July 10th.

We usually congregate at Wayne's next to the Palais du Justice around 5:30 or 6:00...

I'll be the distinguished, gray-haired "pilot-looking" type (think Daniel Craig, only a little older) sitting with two other guys wearing jeans, Izod shirts, running shoes and black socks. We may or may-not be surrounded by fabulous-babe women old enough to be our mother...

Kevin

Doug, what kind of seniority is holding Captain on the 767ER right now? You thinking of holding out for that captain upgrade?

The most imporant thing in my mind for Delta's future is...

Are they going to serve ARN anytime soon?

We had Stockholm prior to 9/11, it was one of the trips we dropped and we've never gotten it back...

I hope so! Great layover, but expensive...

I'm updating the resume as we speak!

Hope to join you up front soon for those trips.

NICE!!! I love Nice.. but i'm not all that keen on the hotel location, it's so far from the center of life...but at least it is somewhat close to a grocery store that has AWESOME fresh baguettes!!

btw, what is up with the shorts and black socks? you can always tell a pilot if he's wearing shorts with black socks/shoes!! haven't ya'll caught on yet to bring another pair of shoes or something? haha

Damn, I miss you just by one day! I'll be in Nice tonight and then again on the 29th.
But if I get lucky, I might be there on July 10th. I sit reserve that day and last time, I flew down your way.

You know, that's true about the other guys at times. Not that I'm a fashion maven or anything, but everyone thinks I'm a flight attendant on the layovers because I'm not wearing the "PTC" golf shirt (or Target polo), khakis, running shoes w/black socks (or flip-flops).

Imagine what they say to me when I'm wandering around in khaki cargo shorts and a Korn t-shirt. I've had some CAs give me weird looks when I don the layover gear.

I'll don on the fitted cap, stunna shades, white tee, starched jeans, white nikes, and a long platinum(fake) chain that has 777 hanging. I wonder if I'll get weird looks?:)

Oh just wondering, on average, what would you say the age of the regionals captains you been flying with is?
