Comair

Trust me, not a lot of ASA pilots like the term either, but they realize that is what it is and that there isn't a damn thing they can do about it.

I have a horrible taste in my mouth when it comes to Skywest, they can not be trusted.

I also have a slight feeling that some Skywest pilots may actually enjoy the current (no contract) and ultimate fate (ASA fully absorbed into Skywest - flying under the Skywest banner) of ASA. Now that to me, is sick - sick because once again I am seeing a great southern based airline being eaten alive by big papa. - Just my opinion - perhaps the future will prove me wrong. I'm not holding my breath.

I must have missed your background. Are you a pilot for ASA? Hardly anyone at SkyWest wants to absorb ASA. You shouldn't listen to your feelings on this one.

I've spoken to a few veteran SKYW pilots recently and it was made apparent to me that the general feeling is ASA will become SKYW within the next 36 months.

Good? Bad?

You decide.

Would it?

What if SKYW dissolves ASA?

Who knows?

Stay tuned though..

Exactly. And to answer your previous question. . . definately a bad thing in my opinion.

I'm just an Atlanta native that has a large amount of Delta and ASA pride. So much, that I hate to see either of them being dragged through the gutter. I hope I'm wrong, only time will tell.

I am curious how many COMAIR guys have gone to DAL over the last 5-6 years.

Not trying to add fuel to the fire, just an honest, curious question.

Also wonder if COMAIR sits in the same class as GOJETS and FREEDOM (along with others alike).

Opinions?

I doubt it. The some what sad truth about GoJets is that while in the web world most people know how much they suck, in the real world, many people have no idea what they are doing. I would bet CMR guys won't have a problem getting on anywhere other then Delta. As to Freedom? Make sure you aren't confusing the Freedom op now (ERJs out of MCO) with the Freedom A List which was the alter ego that Mesa eventually got back on list. Most of the guys at Freedom now had nothing to do with the original Freedom.

Well, the Freedom beast was slayed.

The powers-that-be at CMR are more or less still in power and they're still suing the union for millions.

Ok, question time:

JC'r sends out apps and get interview with CMR, offered and hires (no others on horizon). 2-3yrs upgrades to CA. 2 more years has 1500PIC hours, looking for Major. Would a DAL JC'r assist in getting to DAL?

Are you talking about the RJDC? I thought that dissappered a while back. Jc'rs please don't ask what the RJDC is. It's retarded!
