For everyone's information, I received the following from Jackie at FSA in answer to this question:
"With regards to the Business Jet Direct Program and the requirements, you are not required to complete all three instructor ratings at FSI nor are your required to have the to be eligible for BJD - you simply need to have the CFI. To be eligible for the FlightSafety Business Jet Direct Track you need to have completed either CFI or CFII and MEI at the FlightSafety Academy. If you already have all three instructor certificates, you can complete a "screeening/evaluation course" to determine if you meet the standard for the program. - my only concern with this scenario is that you may be a little behind the curve when it comes to the interview. - The interview is the same interview process that we hold for individuals who want to become an instructor at the Academy. In order to make it through the interview you need to proove that you are a proficient pilot and meet the FSI standard. - I think this can be a little challenging for some if they are not familiar with the FSI standard."
I get the sense that the BJD program has more open slots than applicants.
