Delta Air Lines, HERE I COME!!!

SUTH'N JETZ INNANASHUNAL... I need a sticker that says that for my flight kit. :)

Just gotta figure out what to do with the big Northwest Airlines logo on my overnight bag, haha.

I'll post the gouge and such here soon... I promise.
I know a few guys at Eagle- that's why I was wondering about that thread. Oh, and I'm really nosey.

By the way- my times are 4890 TT, 30 CRJ, 1780 CRJ PIC... I remember someone asked earlier. Everyone in the interview was or had previously been a regional captain.

Don't even worry. When I left Skyway for Southernjets, you should have seen the "gossip". Big freeking deal. All that sh*t doesn't matter. Focus on getting thru training. And if you're not finished by April, the first round at Spondivits is on me when I'm there for 76 school.

haha....I'm not worried about the thread-... Just curious! I don't get the chance to inspire threads very often and it is always quite humorous.

I'm sure we'll be around the schoolhouse at the same time... class starts on monday with around 12 days of indoc. 2 months total, I'm guessing.

I'll be over at the bar, putting out the vibe.

Doesn't matter what the Eagle thread says, you're a Southernjets Innanashnul pilot now!

Let me know what you need, I'll make sure you get your hands on it ASAP. I still don't have the "OC-2" and "OC-3" thing figured out yet so you'll just have to "axe" someone in Atlanta. I always get lost! it's a BIG complex!

I spent 3 yrs at the GO working in the mail room and I still got confused with OC2 and OC3. Just remember it all starts on the second floor of the ground training building and then you cross the bridge to the other side...I guess though the sim in the old parking lot is OC3 now.

Are you sure that was roast beef you were eating.

Doug you need to spend more time here at the Worldport so that you can learn to talk the southern language of mash, 4hunn, and maddog.

Have you started the 767 class yet? Let me know where you are here and we can go get some pickled pigs feet, hogjow, grits and eggs......kidding of course about the food except grits and eggs. I am at the airport every night M-F so give me a heads up when you are in town

I actually wasn't a widgethead, but after seeing everyone pull together to give Doug Parker the finger, holy freeking crap, I think we're going to kick a lot of ass.

With Peanuckle being in the first batch of new hires, he's going to have an incredible career.

Looks like Parker helped revive the "Family" at Delta. I am happy for them and it just keeps the contract we have with Delta intact for a few more years. The outpour here in the ATL was amazing to see happen. I wish we could have had that kind of support to remove Leo and gang sooner.

Denny again, CONGRATS man!

You're such an inspiration to the young folk on here. That there is still hope for majors and you've set the bar. 23 FO, 24 CAPT, 25 DELTA! DAMN!!!!!!!

Congrats! It's a great feeling to give DeBarry the big "Seeeeee ya'" isn't it??

Jason

I'm gonna drop it in to operations as I'm driving down to ATL tommorrow. The reason for that being a long story in itself, haha.

Actually I never really had any problems with Dave and Scott so I did feel a little bad for giving zero notice......but I got over it pretty quick :)

Jason

Where did you end up going?

I always had endless respect for Dave up until a couple weeks ago... now he is trying to get me for standing up for the right thing in a situation. All they want is somebody's head- it doesn't matter what actually happened. It's been pretty sad to see how barely anyone in management really looks out for what is right. Nothing has been or will be put on my record because I'm getting out before they can try to do anything.

ANYHOO... I'm typing up my resignation letter right now. This feels GOOD!

That doesn't surprise me....9E never ceased to amaze me.

I'm currently working for a "large training organization" teaching in mid-size business jets.

Jason

Here's another rumor for you Peanuckle. Quite a few of the NYC 767ER bids went "unfilled" with the last advanced entitlement posting so that MAY be an option for new hires.

Wow 25 years old and an FO on the ER. That would be amazing. Anywhoo congrats bro. What an acomplishment at your age. :nana2:

What did the thread at eagle lounge say about me? I'm quite curious.

Well, it started out with some guy saying he knew of a 25 year old Pinnacle guy getting hired by DL. Then it turned into a 'well, who did HE know' thing. Then someone else said 'Great, a DL guy wearing Doc Marteens, wonder where his iPod & backpack are'. They questioned your experience level, and were all pretty much just jealous that you'd upgraded and they haven't. Then it progressed into a typical Eagle bitchfest about job security, why nobody should leave the security of Eagle for a major, blah blah blah. Really, you were just the inspiration for the thread, they took it and made it an EagleFest as usual :)

Hahahaha... that's pretty funny.

It's even better that I don't even own an IPOD and my backpack hasnt left my closet since college (can't say I even used it much then... whoops. Kids- go to school and stay off drugs).

Let me know once you get settled and maybe a bunch of ATL folks can buy you a congrats adult beverage. Once Doug gets here we can all get together also....

If you ever get lost always remember Virginia Ave or Loop Rd and most folks can help you find your way.

:cool::cool::cool::cool: VERY NICE!
Like someone else already said, you ARE an inspiration for all of us young dudes. I hope I can get on that kinda schedule!
