When I got my complex endorsement it was in a 182RG. I had never flown in a retrac before and when I put the gear up on that first takeoff, when the gear clunked into the belly I about jumped outta my pants. Someone needs to warn you about that stuff.:)
 
I have to ask. . . as I'm in the market for a good camcorder.

I want a miniDV. What do you guys (who record their flights) use to fix the camcorder to the dash? Velcro?

I just took my Digital Camera and set it on the dash and had the compass hold it.
