Whoa I'm a Throttle Jockey

Ha Ha, I always told my students SET IT, AND FORGET IT. Just like the infomercial, it was silly but it worked.

I find that when flying passengers I like to make as many power changes as possible. It shows that I as a pilot am actually doing something. When I make one of my standard smooth-as-silk approaches with no power changes my passengers usually look too bored.:sarcasm::sarcasm:

I find screaming at critical moments breaks a passengers sense of boredom...like when you drop the gear, just as it get's the last clunk into position, scream loudly "oh god NO, no again! We needed those!" :sarcasm:

Ah good times. Looks like that parking spot is real close to the G.C.H's 172 that I flew a few times in. GEU is nice and....peaceful.

15"/2500 RPM/Flaps 10/100 Kts
15"/2500 RPM/Flaps 20/ 90 Kts
15"/2700 RPM/Flaps 30/ 80 Kts
