Just for those who aren't keeping in track with the Network JC forum...
We are holding Mock interviews and Sim Lessons/Checkrides for those being interviewed as part of the NetworkJC "fun" things to do/learn.
We have 2 or 3 people willing to help with the mock interviews/sim checkrides and you can interview if you have a PPL and above. The interview will definately be beneficial for those who have not performed an oral interview before an individual or a committee. It would be great practice for anyone planning to interview for an FBO job or even airline/freight position in the future (whether near or far).
It is recommended to dress to impress (as if you were really going in for an interview) and to send your resume to Complexhiaviator (Tracy) via email (PM him for his email addy) so he can give you resume pointers before conducting the oral portion of the interview.
The sim checkrides will be flying in the left seat with a First Officer as your "instructor" per se who will be assisting and helping you perfect your skills while your in control (no matter if you've even flown a major jet before or not).
Honestly, it's great experience and there isn't one person on this board that can't use the practice (including those in the regionals who wish to move up to the majors some day).
There is a poll in the networkjc forum that IS the signup sheet. If you want to get some practice, please sign up so we know how to schedule everyone for both the interview and sim...
you must be signed up by Oct 20th to be included in either or both the mock interview and sim lesson.
Sim rides are available for those not interviewing as well, but at a different time so that the mock interviews are held at condusive times to sim lessons.
All mock interviews and sim lessons/rides will be held on Friday Oct 27th (during the day)
