Yeah that was interesting Alphaone for sure....very long though ! It would be more interesting if you could get ahold of the radio traffic from their fireground ( scene communications ) and mutual aid frequencies. Problem is those usually arent on tape, they are only on scene through portable radios.
Im not sure if we are talkin about the same thing Killbilly.....I'm talking about the portable fire radios on scene between fire crews and incident command
( fireground frequencies ). Maybe it's different there, but here the main fire dispatch channel is on tape, but once we get to a large scene and switch frequencies, it's no longer recorded...unless we stay on the fire dispatch channel. For a large incident though, we wouldnt in order to keep the dispatch frequency clear for other calls. It might be different there though, maybe you know something I dont !!
