Uniform Shirts

They pretty much all fit my sawed-off self like a potato sack, too. You're not alone, Lurch. Anything that's long enough to tuck in is hilariously broad in both the shoulders and esp. the waist. If I were of a more Conspiratorial bent, I would think maybe a few someones were sitting both on the boards of the shirt-manufacturers and, say, McDonald's.

Flight suits now, flight suits tomorrow, flight suits forever!
I’m pretty sure living off cigs and bourbon has prevented you from adding a single pound to your frame.

Im not so lucky, though (albeit above the protestations of a couple joints) I’ll still beat a lot of our captains through the exit window, and I managed, shockingly, to find a size that doesn’t come untucked and won’t double as a sail if I ever have to use the life raft.

Ah flight suits… worn over Carhartts and a hoodie 9 months of the year, shorts and a t shirt occasionally… shaving optional, beanie required, sprawled on the fbo couch watching cartoons while the FO gets the medicos from the hospital… those were the days

I mean… black is black?

Last go round Widget land went with a "well, you know how they say black is black, yeah, this black isn't black" but it's not charcoal or any such identifiable derivative of black.

And in fairness it is black, just with some random shiny grey woven in so that if you place it against something that is black, it take a slight turn towards not black. I can put my new blazer up against my old blazer and see the difference, yet put a large gap between them and you'd just think they were both the same.

Also, they itch.

What can I say… Lear captain had it good. FO to do the grunt work, APU, 2 turbine engines, hot wings and tail, above the weather…
Yeah, well. I. I uh. I got to hang out in the rural ICUs at 3am and watch various D/Ting drug addicts play checkers! There's a cultural experience you'll never have, so I'm not sweating it, either!

If I'm home I'll change out my shirt after 3 days but no way I'm carrying an extra for a 4-day. I carried an extra shirt for the first couple years at the regional. It never came out of my bag so I quit packing it. Yes, I too like to live dangerously.

Sugar, you can fit your furry outfit and clean shirts, ok? :)
