Thankfully, most Christians and Muslims very very lightly associate with the mythologies of their ancestors and find comfort in liberal democracies.

Even in the most fundamentalist of Muslim nations I’ve been treated with kindness and generosity.

Not sure what made the IRGC SAM operators think that a plane that suddenly popped up out of nowhere, wasn’t tracked from anywhere, was on a slow climbing flightpath, and squawking it’s M3 with no M4, was some threat aircraft of some kind.

Of course, SAM operators from a number of places have been knocking down friendly aircraft in the past two decades. Not exactly a confidence maker.

The biggest “asshola” the past 15 yrs has been Putin. Took over Crimea in 2014 (on an aviation note, gave us the MH17 777 shoot down). He’s since invaded Ukraine, killed HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS. And put Europe and NATO on the brink of WWIII.

Is "Cracker", "Brit", "Canuck" or "Aussie" acceptable? I can't recall ever calling anyone "the n-word" and I spent a disproportionate amount of time in traffic on the 405. He's said he doesn't partake in the Muslim Brotherhood shenanigans but when they get jacked up he jumps in and claims it's because of racism. We're the same age and perhaps you were a little further removed from the violence than I was but I remember when the Bloods and the Crips were just killing each other indiscriminately all over LA, lots of non combatants were killed or injured. Do I think it was a black problem? No, I think it was a family problem first and a gang problem second. White people do so much horrible stuff, religious or otherwise, that I don't try to defend it. That's white privilege, we don't have to jump in to defend white people when a white person gets his ass kicked by the cops for being stupid. It's just another dumb white dude.

Iran has been funding muslim terrorist groups all over the ME for decades, Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis come to mind. Iran was close to refining nuclear weapon grade materials (imminent) and if you think we didn't have talks with all of the other players in the region before that got shut down you probably think fairies are real. Iran is now attacking all of their neighbors, why? SA, Qatar, Kuwait have all been hit with retarded missiles (or they're smart missiles, I don't know) they've managed to hit one US base, a hotel and a residential building, ours and Israels missiles all just hit pinpoint targets. Irans missiles seem like bottle rockets, you can point them in a direction but you have no idea where they'll land. And you're trying to defend that sort of indiscriminate destruction?
