What the heck? I'm not transporting the nuclear codes! Mine looks just like that but is made of leather or some leather-like substance. Don't need military grade.

It's the same dimensions but, I believe, considerably lighter. Bonus, it's got wheels so you can flip it sideways and roll it if you want. Handles on top and end.

Yeah I’m thinking that the bright line I’m using isn’t going to fit in the spot on the 777 - it’s a pain to get in the cramped 777 cockpit and I’m going to have to get an old flight case like when we carried paper Jepp binders and paper flight manuals.

I was surprised to discover that the 777 cockpit for 4 is way more cramped than a 320 cockpit

It’s a pain in the butt to put my brightline that I’ve been using for over a decade in the spot where the flight bag goes. I’ll need to lose some pouches to make my brightline slimmer to fit in the flight bag spot.

Other than the colored zippers they scream “this is also my range bag and I have a Black Rifle Coffee sticker on my iPad case and an inop sticker on the camera”.

I briefly considered one but seeing as I was annoyed with too many small pockets as it was I decided it wasn’t a good option

Made sure all my range bags were the most douchey, non FOM compliant color to put one more step in avoiding that stupid mistake from ever happening.
