Have you ever worked on airplanes? At the last few places I've been employed your uninformed ideological based opinion is far from reality. Young, old, any color, any gender, none of it matters because it's a meritocracy. All that matters is if a person can do the job effectively and take complete responsibility for their work. Those Runway Threshold white stripes abeam the taxiway get very slippery when wet. The Mad11 was very susceptible to this just simply taxiing onto the runway for takeoff at a slow speed as the front tires struggled for traction. Basically had to treat it as an icy/cluttered condition with differential braking and thrust.
Once in SDF after landing in the A300 I tried to exit a high speed at a somewhat “spirited” speed trying to help the guy behind us. Everything seemed fine until the tower asked if we needed assistance? We asked what he meant and he told us he saw a lot of white smoke from the nose tires as we exited….oops! Lesson learned.
He clarifies in this one that his recording missed the initial ATC instruction to keep their speed up until the end. Looks like they missed the high speed. It has video of the turn, not just the aftermath.
