Trim failure out of DAL

I mean with the proviso that, as per above, I'm on the "let's see what actually happened" team, the dude did say something like "we're ready to land!" and I don't think it's Salty Bullying to point out that this non-standard phraseology *might* indicate that he had sort of reached his, well, reach. *shrug*.

In any case, this is not a hill to die on, and I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt until more info is available.

Since you don’t know anything but you type a lot let me educate you a little.

A primary and secondary failure on this type = a jammed stab. You’re welcome.

I ***literally*** wrote out several questions asking about that system, ***specifically*** because I didn't know.

Yes, I was looking to get educated on that topic.

But the same mud you sling at others as being embarrassing, the equal is true for the other side.

Strait up panic and pants crapping over a non life-threatening emergency. That is a hallmark look into the lack of experience being hired by companies right now.

Well, depending on where it was trimmed at, it may be in a sub-optimal, ran away for a bit, who knows.

I'm not about to say "We're in Mechanical Backup Law" and start describing the total system failure situation.

"Need to return to the field. Flight control problem. Declaring an emergency"

dude they landed a broken plane safely, what more do you want?

Come back when another 135 operator slides off the end of the runway after touching down at Ref+50.
Yeh WTF has it to do with corporate aviation you Absolute Weapon

Speaking of trim - y'all see that Lauren Boebert video from the theater? She looks like a fun date!
Man. Dude was all over them titties! I’m sure they were glad to be escorted out, so they could head back to the room!

although, I think the bigger scandal for her is that her date owns a “gay friendly” bar that has hosted drag shows! How’s she going to explain that one??!! LOL!!

I mean...she was giving the guy a handy and at first I thought she was just rubbing his thigh because her hand placement looked farther down, but it looked like more than that. Which officially makes it her estranged husbands saddest day ever! (the registered sex-offender/flasher of underaged girls) Apparently the guy she replaced him with is not only a gay-friendly Drag bar owner, he's packing quite a hog!

Did you not see where I said “glad it worked out ok”

?????

I still have questions, starting with is there any control lock for this system? Or switches that have to be engaged for trim to work?

Time will tell. But if I have to pick between an airplane that fails both the primary and secondary system at the same time, versus a pilot who just missed something/forgot something, you know which way I’m leaning. ;)

Like those guys who try to takeoff, abort at 130 knots, taxi back, remove the pitot covers, and then takeoff again. And then kill someone with something not related to pitot probe.
