Because COVID has completely upended people’s risk tolerance matrix. The media’s nonstop ramming fear porn down our throat has only exacerbated this. A vaccinated and boosted person’s risk is no greater than any other daily activity.

There should not be a government requirement to do so.

Additionally, if a sky club person tells me to wear a mask properly, I’m not going to get combative with them. I’ll just leave and go to another one. Not worth it.

That hasn’t happened yet, because even the employees don’t care anymore.

But again - and this is the thing, you’re inwardly focused - you’re more worried about having to do something you don’t want to do than the potential impact that could have on everyone else.

That is why I say you’re selfish - that and instead of just dealing with it, you come on here and angrily shout about how much of an injustice it is that you’re required to do the same thing everyone else is. It’s not enough that you’re angry about masking up - I get that, hell sometimes I even am - it’s that you whine about it incessantly. That’s what speaks to your character.

You’re so inwardly focused that it’s basically all that you talk about. You’re concerned about “me me me” rather than what the rest of society is dealing with. That’s perfectly acceptable here in America but I’m well within my right to point out how much of a jag this makes you.

but over the last year I’ve seen that our culture is so F-ed that people don’t even want to get vaccinated and fight tooth and nail against helping each other at all so this is where we’re at now.

Except this doesn't achieve the goal you so long for.

The 40% of vaxd patients in our hospital says so. The flu vaccine that continues to miss the mark year after year says so. The fact that no country no matter the draconian measure to do so has reached this goal. The country with the best Covid case rate per population is only 39.5% vaccinated.

Covid is here to stay. Want to be mad about it? Blame China.
