Morbid curiosity. Upgrade times?

As sporty as things can get trying to understand what the hell Magadan or Ujung Pandang is trying to tell you to do at 0200 local, I'd rather deal with that than 4 legs in and out of a weathered in hub, with crappy airport food and an 11 hour layover to look forward to.

If you plan your nap accordingly, communication becomes a lot easier.

“Yeah, man. That sounds rough. Anyway, I got it from here go take a break. Is the coffee fresh?”
 
They are, but they're so early they're inside the WOCL for the east coast.

Fair. But if the sun is out, it's not a red eye... just something to bid avoid.

I lucked out last time going through China. The RO got his revenge though because on the next leg, about 2 minutes after I replaced him up front both or right inner fuel pumps died.

Pardon my ignorance on Hawaiians route structure but when do you guys talk to China? Never heard y’all in the last 18 months and I’ve been in China a whole heap as of late. Regardless… it’s nice to know it’s not just us freight guys having to learn a new language enroute.

A whole lot of random cargo and charter action over the past year. I wouldn't expect it to continue once Japan and Australia open up again though.
