I’d put my career on par with most here. Opinionated about other things like politics, sure. But not this career. I’ve lived it. That I haven’t had it as good or bad as someone else isn’t relevant. This job is 100% luck and timing.

Fair enough. As long as we are acknowledging each and every single career is different with various outcomes, mostly with things beyond our control that involve luck and timing.
 
So what if on camera I did a jaeger bomb and Michael Jackson moonwalked the length of my hotel room?? Pissed or not, you’d watch it more than once. Likes and total views equal money mothafugggasss

Awful. Pure garbage.

At least early Metallica is good metal. I prefer their later stuff, because I’m not a big fan of traditional metal, but it’s real metal, anyway. Motley Crue isn‘t even real metal. It’s “glam metal.” Ugh. It’s just pure hot garbage.

I just push the ATC button these days and wait for the CPDLC ding lol. Usually. But I haven't had anyone blast something so loud I couldn't hear or anyone ever tell me to grab a clearance.

Over a decade, I only had a couple CAs play music on a device they’d leave in the flight deck. One was an absolute rage of drums and screaming. I told him to please turn that crap off. He said oh you don’t like my choice of music, I said no. And he shut it.

Define good music? What makes you think the type or band of music you like is good and something the FO will like?


I’ll tell you what the best music is when preparing for a flight..... silence from your Bluetooth device. When will some of these CAs learn that the cockpit isn’t really a place to subject your FOs to subjective crap like this?
