We took a very old man former B17 instructor for a ride in the Goose. Flew formation with a 210 that was getting some pictures.

This very old man who could barely do much let alone climb in and out of airplanes, leaned over, "That's not formation...that's just two airplanes happening to fly to the same place..."

That Yak is in Krasnodar, Russia last I heard. That plane set a record there. Friend of the owner took it for a ride around the patch, figured the gear was up as prop splinters and dirt started flying around. Balls to the wall, overrevving the engine managed to go around, came back in and geared it up again. 2 gear ups in 12 minutes.

the tragedy of Paul’s Boutique is that I completely missed it until 2005. Now it’s one of my favorite albums and I just can’t help but think about how many years I missed out on where I could have been enjoying it.

I love it from start to finish, and High Plains Drifter is great. But if I had to pick a favorite it would be CarThief.

If anyone here was in BOS, it was a pleasure sitting outside and watching your 15R approaches and landings this afternoon. To anyone reading this from our architectural Two Towers, I do love when that approach is in use if I have time to listen in. You guys and gals do give us a show down here, and it's a blast testing my own knowledge when co-workers come to me with questions.
