So I ended up waiting until the last day, supposed to get home in plenty of time. I tried to do it on my iPad and my phone on my previous trip, it didn't work out with the test videos, so I stopped.
Well, we left IAD for PIT and I put my headphones on and dozed. I heard announcements being made about landing in Dulles. I just thought it was the crew mis-speaking because, well, who hasn't done that? Then I realized we'd been in the air an hour for whats at most 40 minute flight. Then I noticed the sun was on the wrong side of the airplane. Yep, we were over PIT and diverted back to IAD with an anti-ice problem. This is the story of my life, folks...
I didn't make it home until after the interview time was up. I did contact a JB person and told them my story. They extended it for me and I took it the next day.
