Nope, that’s the Air Canada hangar after the pot approval for air transport workers.Interesting times at SFO today, an air conditioning unit caught fire on a hangar roof.![]()

Great picture! I got a good view of them yesterday on my commute to Denver. It was an oddly nice day in the area.

The second photo is great!! Eagles look so alert, so watchful, so wary, so resolute, so commanding, so powerful and so very fierce. Always enjoy seeing photos and videos of them.Went into the woods near Grayling, Michigan to photo/draw/paint wildlife and spotted three Bald Eagles. Here is one, the other two took off as I was bringing my camera up.
I REALLY need to invest in a real camera and a good zoom lens or two.

It kind of shocks people that don't live with them, but they are like the rats of the sky too.The second photo is great!! Eagles look so alert, so watchful, so wary, so resolute, so commanding, so powerful and so very fierce. Always enjoy seeing photos and videos of them.

That's what I've heard. Where they are very common, like in Dutch Harbor from the videos I have seen, people don't seem to think much of them for some reason. I'm guessing it's because where there are a number of people, the eagles tend to scavenge far more as opposed to hunting/being a predator. There are a few out by the ranch here, but I've only seen them from a far distance. When we take some atvs around the area, I've started carrying some chicken or lunch meat or what ever I can find in the frig in a baggy in case I ever get the chance to feed one. I think they are more interested in the live chickens we have. lol I have protective netting though over their area and so far so good.It kind of shocks people that don't live with them, but they are like the rats of the sky too.

Haha. I thought it was hilarious. But maybe it's the beers. There’s a joke in there. Truth be told, I had it typed out but it struck me as a little coarse, even after a few beers.

Time to call it a night I guess!Aaaaand apparently I deleted the wrong one. That’ll do for today I guess.
That last photo is just wonderful. What an expanse of peaceful beauty. Where is that? It is close to where you live?? What a place. How are Jenny, baby girl and Mama doing?? Hope you are all enjoying the Summer. Bejebus is that a great white?? Was it just washed up on the beach???
It’s about 30mins SW of the home drome, not far. We are spoiled here no doubt, beautiful wx all summer. Everyone is doing great. It’s a Salmon Shark, a cousin of the Great White. This one was about 6’ long, they are also six gill sharks like the Great Whites. It was dead and washed up on the beach, but there have been at least 3 of these caught by fisherman this year. That last photo is just wonderful. What an expanse of peaceful beauty. Where is that? I'Il be damned....never heard of a Salmon shark before. It really resembles a Great White and it also has that same wide girth. How lucky are you to have that beach and those mountains in your back yard. Glad the family is doing well. Hope you had time for a little fishing. It’s about 30mins SW of the home drome, not far. I did, it’s been a great summer! I did a lot of errand/supply running with the Pacer. The newest crew member picked her first fish with Grandpa too.I'Il be damned....never heard of a Salmon shark before. It really resembles a Great White and it also has that same wide girth.
