Improving like how you feel after recovery from dysentery, that is
When I think of the number of us who honestly tried to be good people and point him on the right path....well, you can’t save someone from themself and hopefully either there’s a “come-to-Jesus” moment or The System does its job before anyone gets hurt. He's at a WO now? Wow... he's got the infinite lives cheat code.
Bad pilot, or just a bad human being? When I think of the number of us who honestly tried to be good people and point him on the right path....well, you can’t save someone from themself and hopefully either there’s a “come-to-Jesus” moment or The System does its job before anyone gets hurt.
All of the above.Bad pilot, or just a bad human being?

All of the above.
At my old shop you generally had to screw up pretty colossally to have employment terminated. He was terminated there (or maybe asked to resign, as usual you’d never get a straight story from him). Can't attest to his flying prowess. But the behavior demonstrated both on this forum and in person. I knew him. He was very arrogant/narcissistic, impulsive, risk taking. Didn't like following directions, believed that rules didn't apply to him at all. Couldn't ever tell him anything, would always argue with you. He always knew better. Demonstrated a pervasive pattern of self-destructive behavior, which in addition to all the behaviors listed above constantly contributed to him being termed from gainful employment with airlines. He was/is his own worst enemy. I wouldn't want to fly with him.
Now that's a great planeNever flown it of course. But I got love for the CRJ-700/900. Which you've called a more proper airliner.

Which story? The one where he left my ex-employer was after he mass blocked everyone from JC. I still have only heard bits and pieces from folks over there. It sounds epic. Can someone provide a link to the thread on this story? I never heard about it.

I typed a response but decided it’s better taken to PM.We have the same ex-employer. Yeah, it does sound epic. I never heard about it, other than he apparently sat reserve while jumpseating on Atlas or something.
Did he actually tell people on this forum that’s what he was doing? If so, that’s amazing anyone that dumb ended up at AA. Those psych tests sure work great don’t they?!
