Just takes getting used to the nose high sight picture. As for pitch.. mains first then fly the nose wheels on. Gusty cross winds are definitely more work. The pitch attitude is way more finicky on the water.. miss the sweet spot on the foats and your gonna have a bad day.KSDL to KBDN then north to the 907.

I gotta ask - is it hard to land an amphib like that on pavement? Seems like you don't have a lot of room for error on your pitch attitude as you bring it in.

As Capt. says, crosswinds can be fun, otherwise it is just a big shopping cart. Sometimes the nose wheels will shimmy and leaves a black ribbon on the runway.

She never has enough hiking. Took her to start getting her back in shape and she walked me into the ground. Not bad for an 8 yr old boxer.

Actually she's pretty small for a boxer, but it's hard to tell until you see her next to a normal sized one. She was the runt of the litter. Most boxers are well over 60-70lbs and she barely breaks 50.

I felt pretty meh about Petra.
In the morning we had the place to ourselves, literally the third and fourth people to enter. But by noon it was crawling with mangy donkeys, hundreds of Bedouin hawkers, and seemingly thousands of Chinese. Oh yea, and free wifi. Shame.
