Thanks. We have very similar times with a 76 out of ONT and an MD out of HNL. I hope they don't make you guys heavy crew it and do it as a turn. They do that with us once in a while. It's brutal in a 76.

Cargo may work on certain routes but there has been a flood of capacity over the last few years with rates falling. I think over the last quarter rates finally started to reverse the downward trend.

There really isn't much money in cargo, the money is in the logistics.

They retired the 737-200 which had the gravel deflectors over 10 years ago. The -400 combi, which retired a few months ago, could not land on gravel.

AS has 3 737-700F (Freighter) now, converted from normal pax 737-700s. These 3 airplanes are all cargo only, the combis were parked 10ish years ago.

4th quarter was ok, 1st quarter is going to be bad.

Yeah it's no bueno, management seems to think "shrinking to profitability" is gonna work. Oh and that whole being scared of competition..

To be fair for every flight city/flight they are pulling back, they are adding back more frequency on an already established route. There's no denying though that net block hrs have gone down for the year. A significant part of that on the Bus side are the heavy C and D checks plus the re-paintings. Apparently suppose to have 24 Buses painted by year end and all of them by end of 2019, so that's an aggressive schedule. For those reasons, lots of Airbuses are pulled from the line to get the MX and paint job done.

Sorry, the 737-200 combis were parked 2007ish. The 737-400 combis were recent retirements, you're right.

We sill have the -400 freighter 709 as well. Last of the Mohicans for the -400s.
