TA ratified at Endeavor!

It’s okay. I’m on there, but I’m really trying to not post on BP or the new site. I’m weaning off of APC too. Maybe someday I’ll only read this one.

I hear ya. Its good to be discriminating with time and forums. 2 years ago a quick glance at ‘one of the forums’ alerted me to the idea that maybe I should turn my ringer on cause calls for my interview date were going out. 20 minutes later I got that call and a class date. That’s my story when I have any explaining to do about why my head is down looking at my phone lol.

So would you be able to bid lcr for the whole month?

Yes.

To expand further on how LCR will work:

  1. Long Call Reserve:
    1. Ability to bid for as many consecutive days of work as desired as an LCR Pilot in order to obtain up to 12 consecutive days off. This is a voluntary option and will be bid through PBS preferences. The required FAR 117 30-hours off in 7 days will be provided as determined by Crew Scheduling and will not count as a day off.
    2. A LCR pilot will be continuously available commencing at 0001 on the first day of the reserve sequence until 2359 on the last day of the reserve sequence with a minimum callout of 12 hours, except that the pilot may be not be required to report sooner than 1300 domicile time on the first day and, and a Pilot will be auto-released in the absence of any assignment at noon on the last day.
    3. A LCR pilot escalated to short call reserve will be paid 150%, above guarantee, until he is returned to long call or until receiving a day off.
Also, 15% of reserve line will be LCR.

So if I were to bid this as a commuter, would it be possible to sit at home and wait for the callout?

Well it’s a 12 hour call out so it completely depends on where you’re commuting from and how many flight options you have. Have to have 2 flights to meet the commuter clause. I’m just guessing that the LCR lines will probably go senior.
