Envoy Hiring

If you want to work for AA, I would apply to this opening. In the two classes we just hired more dispatchers came from Envoy that any other regional. Get the job and develop a good reputation as a reliable dispatcher and a workable personality. If your seniority allows or the company asks for volunteers, I would get into hub coordinating which will have you working with peope in the AA IOC and dispatch. Do that and chances are high you will get hired by AA. A significant portion of AA dispatch is former Envoy.

Speaking of AA- I was wondering if there has been any more talk of a December class? I'm currently waiting in the hiring pool from the last cycle. Thanks!!

While hopefully there will be a December class, realistically I dont think they will make a decision on that until the the two classes going through now get signed off. That will likely take until December-January. There are not enough OJT trainers as is. Many OJT trainers including myself get moved frequently to international desks. The supply of people willing to train is not that high.

The good news for people wanting to get hired is that it is looking like there are a significant amount of desks that need to be covered next year plus retirements that are coming.

The bad news for people wanting to get hired is in the past I think HR has had rules on how long people could be in a pool before a new posting and interviews needed again. I have not kept up with the current rules for how long someone can be in a pool before a new application is needed.
