CNN has a real problem. I'm curious as to how they'll react. Trump has maybe not drained the swamp, but he's had an unanticipated impact that is continuing. The constant negative is ugly to a large portion of our population, maybe it works in Turkey.

I'm not sure if any particular channel or shows popularity mean anything other than a lot of people watch it

"Dancing With The Stars" is far, FAR more popular than Neil Degrasse Tysons "Cosmos" but the comparative value is well, incomparable.

As well as a sad indictment of our society.

"OMG! I was flying to LGA and the pilots were lost so they followed the EXPRESSWAY!"

It's amazing what some pax will make note of as "significant" in their minds. A couple months ago, flying into SFO, we were on the visual 28R and paired up with another aircraft visual 28L. Typical formation landing pattern at SFO. Once the pax are getting off, one steps aside to mention that the plane he saw was *really* close! Now naturally I just assumed (mistake) that he meant during approach/landing, so I said yes that at SFO the runways are separated by about 750 feet and that it is common for aircraft to visually line up with the runway and they maintain a safe distance from one another while landing. He had this weird look on his face, clueless about what I just said, and he goes "no, I mean about 2 hrs ago....."

Dumbfounded, and absolutely clueless about what plane he saw while we were in the Flight Levels, I just assured him that the other aircraft was at least 1,000 foot separation from us vertically and that's a good/normal amount of clearance. He seemed to be ok with that and left.

:ooh:
