Normal or Not?

I was seated in the exit row on a Delta MD-88 today and the guy next to me asked what I thought this was. The streaming could be seen the entire time we were at cruise and was coming from 2 spots when I first looked. It got worse in a turn and stopped completely once we started our descent. I have my ideas, but what say the more knowledgeable forum members? What would you say this is?

Was the plane de-iced that morning?

Fluid quantity indicator. Dipstick eliminated. That reservoir isn't empty yet.

NWA used to have the oldest fleet age average. Does Delta hold that torch now? Even after getting rid of the NWA DC-9s? And their 757-200s and 767-200/non-ER 300s to my home airport? Or does AA hold the title?

I believe AA has the youngest fleet of the legacies now. Tons of new 737s, 319/21s, 787s and 777s in the last few years.

That's what $22 bil in debt can get you.
