Oh Deer...

Just so long as you aren't the giraffe guy....
Oh no. Theres never any reason to hit a giraffe. I would stop at a lodge in UG for lunch and we always made sure to never land when the gfs were near. It would mean buzzing the runway 10-15 times but they're such lovely creatures-and you'd probably die too if you hit one.

I almost went plowing into this guy and a couple of his ladies one night running NOE in the training area.

We get herds of mule dear and Elk and while I'm sure I'd win the fight, I doubt I'd be in a place to land, I don't think I'd be able to get him in the tail boom even if I left the rack.

There are pictures of a 207? Vs. GF.. It's sad... :(

"We probably have relief"

"Cool"

"We can probably write that up enroute. It might be flight crew placardable"

"Probably so"

"Here, it's MEL XX-XX-XX and it reads…"

"What did I say ten minutes ago that rhymed with 'please call maintenance' that sounded like I had asked you what was in the MEL?"

(This may have happened)

:)
I just fumble around with the green pages; make a couple of mx calls in vain to either catering, ops, or ramp control--maybe one on guard just for fun. By the time I'm done with that, the boss has either called MOC to defer it or just given up. :D

Nice thing about flying with new hires? They listen and don't try to be co-captains

I absolutely ACHE to be an F/O at, you know, let's say UPS, for example. Gear Up? Yessir! Shut Up? No problem, sir! Just let me know what you need, if in fact you need anything at all sir, sir! Meanwhile, I'm gonna check my investments. Being PIC is WILDLY overrated. I did the first decade of this poop being paid poop without anyone else to blame. Now you're gonna pay me four or five times more to raise the gear and in the worst case gently suggest that we're about to die? Where do I sign? WHERE?

Seriously, where?

You, my friend, would eventually get bored and start trying to get the FMS to play Pong.

Face it. You're wired for command. It happens to smart people.

I keep seeing that fuel spray and think to myself, "this could have turned out so much worse."

They are so lucky that it didn't hit the engine and become a Roman candle.

If that fuel would have been streaming into the intake of the right engine instead of below it like it did, would it have ignited?
