Jumpseat etiquitte (again)

I'll up that and note that I just operated a revenue flight in jeans and a polo shirt....for premium pay.

It was fun meeting the Captain in the Flight Ops room dressed like that. "Hi! I'm your FO...I bet you're wondering where my uniform is..."

I can top that. I flew a revenue flight in shorts and a tshirt. Teach me to go pick up stuff at TechPubs when scheduling (who's office was right next door) was junior manning.

Ugh. How do I get into social media debates? Just had a GA tell me that they have the final say on who gets the jump...ummm what?!?

Once flew a helicopter naked on a revenue flight. Not telling where and for who but the bird was paid for by someone other than the company . Was sitting on my flight suit. Doors off. 100+ degrees in Houston heat. toot-a-ling along at 500 feet. Just felt like the thing to do.

There is a picture floating around but trust me no one wants to see that.

You're not the first one to have their addresses scrutinized. Must be something in their FM about it. I thought it was weird too, like "get a life" weird.

I had a Delta guy give me crap because my medical, drivers license, and ATP all had different addresses. I asked him if he was going to mail something to me, and he didn't seem amused. He did let me on though, so there's that.

A onesie?

Back before I ever considered a career in the airlines I was making fun of a flight instructor in his airline uniform with captains bars. As I am standing there in my flight suit he points out I am wearing a adult size onesie. I couldn't argue with him.....saddest day of my life that I got rightfully served by a fixed wing pilot.

The DL DC9 crews never seemed happy when I would comment that their cockpit looks like a German U-Boat when checking in.

I got a nAAtive mad at me one day, thought he was gonna kick me off the plane. When he asked me if I was familiar with the Sooper80, I told him NO, but I was familiar with the MD88. FO got a good laugh out of it. Bossman, not so much.

Them's fighting words in DFW!!
