Yes because co
Yeah man, believe me...that's one of the major points that keeps me hanging on here. It's difficult to walk away from 30% on the list at a company that is as close to recession-proof as possible in this industry (yes, I also believe in unicorns). Even if we wind up furloughing in the future, at my seniority, we're out of business before it gets to me. So the prospect of going back to the bottom of an immense list is daunting.
Exactly. Contrary to what @Lunchbox just said, your airline had a profit of more than $100 MM in 2009. That was one of the points used against them in the strike of 2010. And you move up a number in June!

Yes, I should have said turn a profit throughout the whole last recession which actually started late 2007 and ended summer 2009.

They did earn s profit the entire time and even gave out bonuses. Funny, I lost my job due to the recession in October, 2009.

For me as a dispatcher, it is Southwest, because of location and the style of work.

On our pilot board.
Is this a sly way of announcing a "kick American butt" campaign @Derg ?

So Delta is tying a collective base/seat group's sick call percentage to extra vacation days? Apparently 1 extra vacation day if a certain metric is met (not exceeded), and then if an even better metric is met, 2 extra vacation days. Not sure how incentivizing a lower sick rate for more vacation is a good idea.
