American 767 RTO at ORD

Talking to a ground ops guy he said he didn't see any rubber or anything on the runway so it didn't look like it was because of a tire blowing out to him. Of course that doesn't mean it wasn't, though
 
Avherld has a report of a fan disk found a half mile away on the UPS ramp. If true thats amazing

Well ok there is no ball at the end of an engine turbine blade but still a fan blade/disk breaking in any portion while rotating that fast is going to go weeeeeeee like Maxwell from the Geico commercials.
 
I know U.S Airways lost a 767 in PHL a while back due to a ground fire during a maintenance run. Do not know if it was engine related.
 
That's just got to be a nightmare for CFR when there's people wandering around taking selfies on the surface.

CFR likely has to take more time getting to the aircraft because of running someone over at SFO when Asiana stacked the 777. This will just make it worse...
