They will be hiring soon even though their staffing can handle the loss of those two. Management seems to be trying the concept of being overstaffed in anticipation of losing people as opposed to being understaffed should people leave.
SKW got raided so badly in 2015 by United and Southwest that the manager even called SWA and asked them to stop taking his people. I think that's total BS, I know they have to run an airline but most go to regionals as stepping stones and to try and prevent people from moving up and on with their career because of your poor planning and foresight is total crap. Especially when the regional 15 year top out makes less than the starting salary, first year at a major.Manager of Mesa's NOC did the same thing with America West when they relocated their dispatch office to PHX

Agree 100%. Regionals survive on cheap labor. They dont want you there too long which is the same for pilots.
They would rather have a 3 year Captain making 90k than a 20+ year one making 200k (pulling numbers out of my a** as I dont remember what regional pilots make, and reading their contracts is like a foreign language to me)
