I understand people are willing to share. In my case I am in a good spot because I start at NK in a few weeks and @Nark has been helping me a ton but I'm sure others need help. I guess if people were actively seeking information about this we would have continuing conversation.

I expect a certain level of decorum on the site and I really don't even read my union's forum with is 100% SouthernJets pilots except for shock value or sheer boredom.

I really don't want to devolve into a cage match of the most bombastic extremes on either side of an issue. But the difference is that JC is more or less the 'mushroom cap' of a much larger real life social network so people rarely put one another on "BLAST".

Generally if you have a question, there's someone here to answer it but ain't nobody got time for beating a dead horse.

It's a forum like others, but it's a very different "community".

I found this place on the same night I found 2 other aviation forums, APC being one of the others. Think of it as tuning in different radio freqs. One was like a station freq with a clueless agent and very angry pilots. Another was like ".........GUaarrrrrrd!

And JC was like a really good Center freq in the evening. Everyone was mellow and cool. People who behave like Tuco Salamanca don't seem to last long here.
