Amateurs, two aspirin and a bottle of water for each before you go to bed. Haven't had a hang over in 20 years. (Except at NJC, but that's because I never went to bed...)
 
Does anyone actually know what their bac was? You keep talking about them being drunk, were they .02 or were they talon drunk?

I read the rule for breath was 9 micro grams per 100 milliliters. I failed the metric system and couldn't figure out what percentage that was. Still couldn't figure it out when I tried to google it, either. I'm guessing it's .09 percent which seems quite high.

.09 isn't really that high. I mean it's legally drunk by DUI standards by .01, but many people still have plenty of motor function and wits at that level. Not go fly a plane ok, but you could probably talk to someone at that level and not think they'd been drinking heavily or anything like that. Some people are probably at .09 after a couple beers.

I think it should be handled on a case by case basis. Was the guy having marital/gf problems at home right before the trip, did his mother just get diagnosed with cancer, etc or was the guy just a wreck less danger? These human factors that don't seem like a big deal can lead to bad decisions. Everything this far(HIMS) is under the premise that the problem has been around a while and you know it's there.

Yes, some of our Ireland flights are unaugmented depending on the time of year for winds.
