Used NetJets aircraft?

Yes, it's a fractional . But a bank finances the planes and NJ just breaks it up. But trust me the bank wants all its none even if it's not sold or 1/16. And NJ will take a plane that is less then 100% sold.

We don't make massive AC purchases without them being spoken for. They aren't allowing Marquis Card purchases on the Phenom, that aircraft has been mostly conversions from the Beechjet.

I'm sure there's some formula, like once they get a certain percentage of an aircraft sold they buy it, but NetJets isn't sitting on aircraft without owners just waiting for them to have shares sold.

They make purchases on what they feel the demand will be. But as a former manager for a very very large fractional, not all the orders have owners waiting, not all jets are sold 100%. And per the lawsuit about 10 plus years ago, the jets cards are sold from a share. But understand that they use a 1200 hour utilization per year for the owners, but they only own 50 hours, this makes the jet worth less and they can sell more jet cards.
 
We aren't CS, and we don't operate the same model as CS, having leasing deals and financing with Cessna. We make aircraft purchases on loans but we don't lease, and while I am sure we try and front load aircraft deliveries based on demand, we don't have a number of airplanes without an owner just sitting around.

Our contracts vary with the owner. Some own full aircraft but get 50 hours a year, but each owner agreement is different. Supplemental lift is a big portion of our business, and certain companies own several full aircraft. But because of the nature of a fractional, they still have an hour per year on their agreement.
 
You 100% have leasing deals with Cessna. Why is Cessna getting 35 X back over the next 3 years? Why did my department have a old NJ X from Cessna to fly around till we got our X plus . And CS had the same model as NJ, you sell shares. We had 10 fully owned CJ3s, we did 100 hours a year for uplift with Hewlett Packard, NJ is not special. And each deal was different, yes. And it does not change the model of shares. The model has not changed. Answer the questions, Who gives money to Bombardie for the jets ? Your owners don't, who is listed on the registration when it's delivered?
 
And just FYI most of the AC at CS were financed from Wells Fargo or B of A, Cessna did very few of ours.
 
 
They all have owners, you just stated that NJ does not lease or own anything. Which is not correct. The planes are leased/purchased from a bank or whomever, as the shares move around from owner to owner and when the plane is no longer needed it goes back to them. They give up their 100% share from the beginning as owners buy them out . But in all these finance deals to buy the bank retains the asset at the end. As for the length, don't matter how long, many of these jets can be released or another bank comes in and buys them to lease them back the NJ. All your ultras that went to Embrara were owned by NJ and were traded in for the 300s. They were not owned by the shares clients. When you read these shares contracts, there is a clause that states the NJ will buy it back for X % for FMV. This is way marquis jet went out of business and NJ was forced to buy them. NJ ultimately has to take the share back and retains ownership for the duration of the financing of the jet. As that obligation ends, the jet goes back and NJ is off the hook.
 
I said that NetJets doesn't wholly own or lease. And Marquis Card didn't go out of business, they are just owned by NetJets.
 
I guess believe what you want about it. And as for Marquee jet going out of business, no it was bought by NJ so not to go out of business. That would of been a disaster for NJ and probably sunk it. I'm just trying to show how the finance of these jets are NJ responsibility for the duration of the finance deal, period. Since NJ does not own the jet, they used to do it that way, but are required to pay for it, it's a lease. Like a car.
