There is a small part of me that really hopes you succeed. I tend to stay away from conflict and I don't wish ill of others but there is a difference between confidence and arrogance. I want to see you back up your words and EARN your ticket. Prove to us that you are not all talk, but can also walk the walk. You may think all people on here do is pick on you, and for the most part they do, but this is something you brought on yourself. Reading these posts on third shift really helps the night go by. People here try to help and then you make your comments and open yourself up to ridicule. This forum is nothing compared to what you might encounter in whatever SOC you land in.

Ok, I'll bite.... considering everything you post is cringe worthy. Here are a couple tips about DX and the aviation community in general that I have found since I started my career.

- Getting your DX ticket isn't all that difficult, a majority of us here have it and many have years of experience on you. I don't mean to minimize what some had to go though to get their ticket but it's not like we've paid out the nose and put away tons of time like ATP holders.

- Check your ego at the door. Just remember that even if you have your DX license, without experience, you don't know squat about dispatching. Your coworkers are going to be the ones you turn to and help you though things when you first start out. Judging by how quickly you were able to piss people off here, might want to reevaluate your approach with people.

- Everyone knows everyone in aviation. Better hope people don't connect your online personality to a resume when it comes time for your first gig. Speaking of the first gig, what's with this whole being picky about where it is? Shutup, apply to every job that pops up and get that experience. Waiting on getting picked up by a shop in texas just so you can continue living in your parents basement is laughable.

We had one kid in our class at jeppesen that reminds me of you, he was outed within the first couple of days and no one wanted to help him because he was such a pompous egotistical &^%$. Last time I saw he didn't get signed off to take the O&P at the end of the class, who would of guessed.

This has all been said before, then said again...and again. It doesn't seem to ever have ANY effect. Even an attempt at a helpful PM was thrown in my face with absolute disrespect.

The reason? TROLL. Don't feed the trolls. He's having WAY too much fun at the expense of good people who've tried to help along the way.

That is what makes me even more mad. Even if you aren't going to take the advice of someone here that makes a sincere effort to help, be gracious and acknowledge it. I hope it doesn't deter anyone from continuing to be helpful. I have learned a ton and appreciate all the feedback. Chances are, we will all cross paths at some point. :)

You're having too much fun with this, troll.

First off, no need to thank Envoy for consideration. You weren't ever considered. You were eliminated by the computer the second you hit submit on your application saying you didn't have a dispatch license.

Why are you the bad guy? Your personality. You came onto this board like so many do, a random username seeking advice on the profession and asking the usual first timer questions. Many of which are answered in the FAQ which you admitted to not reading.

Then, you did not take advice you were given. You kept trying to find ways around the advice you were given by some of the most respected members of this board.

These pieces of advice are not bendable because they are the law. You have to have a dispatch license to be a dispatcher, period. There is no way around it.

You then continued to ask the same questions over and over again hoping that someone would give you the answer you liked instead of the truth.

As if you didn't make a bad enough name for yourself here to begin with, you then proceeded to flaunt your "connections" around as if you were better than every other person on this board. Instead, you have made enemies at every major airline in the US and quite a few regionals. As far as your connections go, one bad recommendation carries a lot more weight than a few good recommencations. I know from experience.

News flash if you're not a troll. There have been people on this board who have received their dispatch license and are now releasing flights since you started this charade.

However, my time with you is done. Congratulations, you're the first user I've ever blocked on here.

This. It is a very very small world. I've ran into people at my current shop that worked at my previous shop (over 10 years ago and I wasn't even in the SOC) that mention names that we both are familiar with.
