WOW!!! Does he not realize that a VFR request is not high priority and flight following is not guaranteed? What a tool.
 
Without listening to the whole thing, why did he get a phone number?

If it's because he was a Richard head to him, I think I should have had ATC mark the tapes a week ago because we had a JAX center controller lose his crap at us for asking for lower for a better ride

He was being a total tool to the controller. He refused the number, and said he would call it on the ground. I hope it wasn't real. If you experienced that, I would definitely report that. Radio communication should always be professional. There is no reason for anyone to lose their cool.
