If you are going to have your ticket within 2 weeks of the posting then by all means apply. Anything longer than that and they will probably just send your resume to the circular file

It is far from a double standard. While I agree 100% on applying for every opportunity, it is pointless for you to apply if you have not 1) attended dispatch school and the most important one of all, 2) have a dispatch license! As others have said, if you are 2 weeks away from getting your license (either finishing school or taking your O&P), then apply, and you can explain that to the recruiter. However, if you have no license and have not even gone through the required 250 hours of schooling, Envoy will not even hold a spot for you let alone interview you.

Going for a dispatch position without a license is the same as me applying to be part of the General Counsel for my carrier. I do not have a JD and I have not passed the bar exam in my prospective state, therefore, I am ineligible to apply, interview, or even be considered for that job.
 
Aaannnnywaay......In an attempt to bring this thread back around to Envoy, I have an interview coming up. Most info I found is pretty old. Anyone have good advice? Will there be a written test?
What is the process?

Did you apply to the first or second positing? I applied to the later and have not yet heard anything.
 
I heard there were 4 being hired. That was prior to the posting from a current employee. Not sure if that was the final number, Good Luck.
