I wonder if the DL +3% rumor I heard was true. That'd be a pretty sweet deal if true with how terribad the last contract was.
Hopefully this means that some hiring is on the way.

Top of industry with no profit sharing. Thats Doug Parkers game.
Not bound contractually at all. They can stop or change it at anytime. He was pretty much forced to do this with all the bad PR the pilot group has been shining on labor relations.Doug Parker has announced company wide profit sharing for 2016 earnings with a payout in 2017.
Of course it's in writing, there was a press release. It means nothing unless bound by a CBA. They could use any "extenuating" circumstance to taketh away.Well it seems TWU says it is in writing.... so maybe not so easy to slip out of....
Its a big 180 for Dougie. I wonder what happened? ( other than the letter from the pilots)
This has nothing to do with AA dispatchers agreement. This is for the regionals. L-AA already has some progams in place.
" the American Airlines Group (AAG) is establishing a new profit sharing program that extends to the company’s wholly owned regional carriers. AAG will put 5 percent of every pre-tax dollar earned each year into a profit sharing pool to be shared by all team members (excluding management levels five and above). The program is effective with 2016 earnings and will pay out to employees in early 2017 based on what the company earns in 2016. "
