Delta Takes Delivery of Its First A321

Have you flown the 21 yet? I've only flown it once, and she's a pig.
I repo'd a "smelly sock" 319 from ORD -DFW last week. That climbed like a raped Ape.

Just once, and it was one of the older ones. They seem to be a unicorn around these parts during the winter.

What… in the world… do you do in your off time? :)

I spent nearly two months straight with him, and I wonder the same thing. One word though, Jarhead.

The first time I smelled "New Plane Smell" was on an ATR 72-212A. We all literally stopped in the galley and just breathed for a few minutes. "Whoa. It doesn't smell like vomit, BO & glycol yet!"

I may very well have flown that same -212A on its last day of revenue serve for Eagle. I can promise you that new plane smell was long gone...

They will be paid a certain rate the company thinks they should be paid, and then after the arbitration is complete, pilots will be made whole (if the rate is different).

That's terrible language. I wonder what the origin of that was. Most properties give a time limit (or none) and then, if no rates are agreed to (or arbitrated) the plane doesn't fly.
