Delta Takes Delivery of Its First A321

They are the same everywhere else.
The PWA doesn't have it in the aircraft types, but...
The 737-6/7/8/900's are grouped together in their PWA, so I can assume the 321 will be grouped with the 319/20's

A light twin

Hush! You off high mins yet? :) Patience.

Is it going to be a separate 320 category or something? Or could a 320 pilot fly any category like a 319, 320 and a 321 all in one trip?

Nope. The first time you're going to see one is probably when you're on a short turn in ATL, walk up to the jet and see the weird CIDS panel, smell "new plane" smell and noticed that the crap on the floor (pretzels, peanuts and chicken bones) are relatively fresh.

We're working on the rates.

Will the A321 have higher rates than the rest of the Airbus fleet?
Have you flown the 21 yet? I've only flown it once, and she's a pig.
I repo'd a "smelly sock" 319 from ORD -DFW last week. That climbed like a raped Ape.

The first time I smelled "New Plane Smell" was on an ATR 72-212A. We all literally stopped in the galley and just breathed for a few minutes. "Whoa. It doesn't smell like vomit, BO & glycol yet!"

Didn't smell New Plane Smell again til I got to work a brand new 737 at AA a few years later. Same thing happened there. It actually makes you stop and smell it, because it doesn't smell like "airplane" yet.
