In addition to Envoy, my friends are telling me XJet will be getting retention bonuses as well. The only thing I've heard is $7500 paid at the end of the year. Anyone have more details?
What is considered a long upgrade time anymore? I don't even know what XJet was at...I thought they advertised 4 years or something?
So...they have a large turnover because of a 3 year upgrade? Or is it higher now, and expecting to drop?If they can get new blood with their new contract, and the United thing. They're advertising 3 years to upgrade.

Not really sure where you get your information but I haven't heard of anything along these lines.
I wouldn't count on it.

Yeah, my buddy was starting rumors and I fell for it. I'm too gullible.![]()
Sounds like you have some beef with the company. I am only curious because the recruiters I've talked to and pilots generally all seemed happy. I just thought of it as a Skywest for the East Coast...There apparently is a new hire incentive of $7500 if they already have a CRJ or ERJ type rating.
There is a $1000 one time incentive for recommending a pilot who successfully interviews and completes training for current employees (re: not just pilots).
It's all smoke and mirrors. This place could recruit really well if they truly made some changes and found solid brand ambassadors instead of 2nd year FOs who have no background in recruiting or people management.

Sounds like my assumptions might be wrong...
I think I'll just come to @Maximillian_Jenius with my regional shopping questions. Line pilots know how things are, but guys in the hunt know the recruiting material.

I would have LOVED to do something like that if I actually believed in the place.
Surreal, what are the travel benefits for a new hire FO? Can't seem to find any info on the Xjet site. Thx
