For some reason, the URL of the job often changes on United's web site, so it's best just to go to the "Careers" page and then look for the jobs in the Network Operations section. I have posted a link to that page here. Just wanted to reassure anyone that saw a "this job is no longer available" message from clicking on the link posted above that United is indeed still accepting applications for it.

Are you guys applying for dispatch or meteorology? I mean, don't get me wrong, it's nice to know all of this cool stuff but, really, United has a met department that can break down all this voodoo into something practically useful to me and the pilots.

I don't "trust" anybody, that's why I always dispatch with an eye on contingencies. Any dispatcher who "trusts" a meteorologist is asking for trouble.
